FGR Grip/Grip E
The strong metal pipe connector for axial restraint connections
- Material: W2, W4, W5 / EPDM, NBR, FKM
- Clamping Ranges: 26.9 mm - 711.2 mm
Description
Our NORMACONNECT® FGR GRIP/GRIP E axial restraint pipe couplings are used to connect plain-ended metal pipes (e.g., steel, stainless steel, copper or cast iron). We offer versions with hollow trunnions (GRIP E) and with full trunnions (GRIP), depending on the pipe dimension. The metal pipe connectors come with an anchoring ring with conically stamped teeth, that indent into the pipe surface, ensuring safe and strong axial restraint. The FGR GRIP/GRIP E can be used for example as a gas pipe connector, water pipe connector and in many more applications. Thanks to its special design, the coupling can withstand even high vibration loads, which can be crucial in applications like shipbuilding. Our broad range of product certifications mean worry-free installation without subsequent complaints or damage, driving satisfaction for you and your customers.
